Dr. Chandra Ford's RHEDI Courses
Over the summer, Professor of Behavioral, Social, and Health Education Sciences (Rollins School of Public Health) and African American Studies Dr. Chandra Ford taught two courses, both taking place over the course of two days. The first course, taking place in June, engaged with the complexities of critical race theory on health on an advanced level (Advanced Critical Race Theory Concepts for Health Equity Research) and a month later, a new group of students participated in an introductory course looking at the impacts of critical race work on public health, with the second and final day taking the class on a trip to the CDC (Introduction to Public Health Critical Race Praxis.)
